Biography
Kelsey Conrad received a master’s degree in medical dietetics from The Ohio State University where she also completed a dietetic internship. She went on to complete a doctorate in pathobiology and molecular medicine at the University of Cincinnati. She then spent two years teaching at Denison University in the Health, Exercise, & Sport Studies Department before joining the Exercise & Sport Studies Department at Smith College.
As a registered dietitian nutritionist working in exercise and sport studies, Conrad teaches courses in anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, and nutrition. Her work seeks to better understand the metabolic consequences of low energy availability in exercising women.
