Bob Newton is a groundwater geologist, hydrologist and geomorphologist interested in groundwater contamination issues, chemical cycling in groundwater systems, interactions of groundwater and wetlands, and use of high­-resolution light detection and ranging (LIDAR) data for imaging geomorphic features and processes.
