The Jandon Center for Community Engagement is Smith’s hub for community-driven projects and social-change research. The center has partnered with education and nonprofit organizations in western Massachusetts—and as far away as India—to address the complex issues facing communities and society. Each year more than 200 students provide some 10,000 hours of volunteer work.
