Biography
Jonathan Ruseski is a Writing Instructor & Technology Specialist for the Jacobson Center. In this role, Jonathan offers writing counseling sessions and helps with design, development, and technological support for Smith Writes, Smith Public Voices, and other Jacobson Center projects. He also teaches ENG 118, The Art of the Steal: Remixing, Originality & Identity and ENG 125, Creative Writing.
A scholar of modern and contemporary poetry, he holds an M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Passionate about writing and publishing, Jonathan is the founder and editor of b l u s h, an online journal and publishing imprint, and author of several poetry chapbooks. Recent writing appears in BOMB, Fence, and jubilat, among others. Iris, a debut full-length poetry collection, is forthcoming in 2023. He lives in Northampton with his wife and cat and moonlights as a musician.
