Graduate Programs
Smith College offers men and women graduate work leading to the following degrees:
- Master of arts in teaching (elementary, middle or high school)
- Master of fine arts in dance
- Master of fine arts in playwriting
- Master of science in biological sciences
- Master of science in exercise and sport studies
Special Programs
- The Interdisciplinary Studies Diploma Program is open to international students interested in one-year of interdisciplinary study at Smith.
- The postbaccalaureate program in math is for women with bachelor's degrees who did not major in mathematics as an undergraduate but would like to prepare to pursue advance study in a mathematics program.
Eligibility
To enter a graduate degree program, a student must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, an undergraduate record of high caliber and acceptance by the department concerned.
