Otelia Cromwell Day, with the theme “Acknowledging Injustice and Practicing Anti-Racism,” was held Thursday, November 7, 2019. The keynote speaker, Deborah N. Archer ’93, is an associate professor of clinical law; co-faculty director of the Center on Race, Inequality and the Law; and director of the Civil Rights Clinic at NYU School of Law. She is a nationally recognized expert in civil rights and racial justice, and teaches and writes in the areas of racial justice, civil rights, and social justice advocacy. Her scholarship has appeared in leading law reviews, including the Michigan Law Review and the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
