Fellowships

If you have a strong academic record and are actively involved in your community, we encourage you to apply for fellowships through the college’s Fellowships & Postgraduate Scholarships Program. Explore your options as a first year and sophomore and build your skills by applying for competitive awards. Juniors and seniors have multiple opportunities to apply for fellowships and postgraduate scholarships that offer superb programs and financial support for valuable learning experiences or postgraduate study in the US and abroad.  The Fulbright US Students Program, open to seniors and recent alums, offers an excellent opportunity to conduct research or teach English in one of about 160 countries. The Fellowships & Postgraduate Scholarships Program advisers will offer support as you prepare applications for nationally and internationally competitive fellowships and postgraduate scholarships. The Program staff will also advise you in your early years of college as you seek summer fellowships and other experiences that can enhance your chances to become a competitive candidate for a major fellowship or scholarship. For example, you might want to apply for a summer Critical Language Scholarship to study a foreign language abroad, teach English as a Second Language (ESL) while you are still an undergraduate, or jump start your undergraduate research with a summer research placement.
