Kahn Fellowships

Kahn projects bring together Smith and Five College faculty, students and visiting scholars to participate as equals to explore diverse areas of research in a collaborative and interdisciplinary setting. Every Kahn project is proposed and designed by one or more faculty members who serve as a project’s organizing fellows. Projects are typically developed as semester or yearlong collaborations, but short-term projects may be designed with the intention of testing and developing ideas that have the potential to become long-term projects.

Participating in Projects

Informational meetings are held each year for faculty and students who are interested in learning more about projects. See the Projects page for additional information about proposing a project.
