Meal Plan for On-Campus Students

Our kitchens offer a variety of traditional buffets and grab and go, as well as pre-order options through the Grubhub app to allow students to meet their level of comfort. Students can download the app on their phone or other iOS or Android mobile device, and food will be cooked to order, with notifications sent when the food is ready for pick up. Hours and meal options are listed in the hours tab of our webpage. In addition to 4 board swipes per day used in the dining rooms or retail cafés (as a meal equivalency), students will receive $100 a year in Dining Dollars. If you don’t have an iOS or Android device, please reach out to Andy Cox, acox@smith.edu, to apply for a borrowed college device.

Sign on to Grubhub

Here’s how to get started with Grubhub Campus. Once you download the app, affiliate with Smith College with these instructions. Then add your campus card by signing in with your Smith credentials with Duo authentication. See the Ordering Experience Tutorial.

Dietary Accommodations

Students in need of dietary accommodations should register at the Office of Disability Services (ODS) by emailing ods@smith.edu. We also ask that you register all dietary accommodations through the Student Affairs THD survey. This information will be crucial if a student needs to be in isolation or quarantine. See the information below for off-campus students who have the option to purchase a meal plan for the semester. We look forward to serving you! We also offer Kosher accommodations at Cutter/Ziskind and Halal accommodations at Cutter/Ziskind and Lamont.

OneCard

Students on the meal plan will swipe at the point of service or buffet in each dining room or order through the Grubhub app using their OneCard as a form of payment. Please visit the OneCard site for information about lost, stolen or damaged OneCards.

Concerns or Questions

You can email dining@smith.edu and the dining team will read your inquiry and respond in one of two ways. If you are posing a specific question, you will receive a personal response; if there are common themes and all students would benefit by the answer, then we will post the answer on this page. We welcome your feedback and comments, so please send us your questions.
